The ICC ODI Rankings for both players and teams were released yesterday. While the Test and T20 rankings remained relatively stable, significant changes have occurred in the ODI Player Rankings because of the ODI World Cup.
ICC ODI Rankings
The latest ICC Men’s ODI Player Standings have just been released, and there’s quite a bit of buzz surrounding the top rankings. Rohit Sharma has surged up the charts, climbing an impressive five places! On the other hand, Siraj, Virat and Hardik have seen a slight dip in their positions.

ICC ODI Rankings Batsman
In the latest update of the ICC ODI Player Rankings, there are 3 Indian batters, 2 bowlers, and 1 all-rounder in the top 10. Currently, India has a total of 6 players within the top 10 across all categories
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s brilliant performances of 131 and 86 runs have propelled him to the 6th position in the rankings. Opening batsman Shubman Gill has managed to maintain his 2nd position. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has slipped one place and now shares the 8th spot with David Malan
Even though Babar Azam hasn’t scored as many runs in this World Cup tournament so far, he still holds the top position at No. 1 with 836 points.
ICC ODI Rankings Bowlers
At the top of the chart for the bowlers, Josh Hazlewood holds the 1st place with 659 rating points, followed by Kiwi star Trent Boult with 656 rating points. Additionally, three Afghan players feature in the list of the top ten: Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and Mohammad Nabi, securing the 4th, 5th, and 10th rankings, respectively.
As far as Indian bowlers are concerned, there are two Indians in the top 10 rankings. Mohammad Siraj holds the 3rd position with 656 rating points, and Kuldeep Yadav has entered the top 10 rankings, securing the 8th position with 641 rating points.
ICC ODI Rankings All-Rounders
Shakib-al-Hasan continues to excel as he firmly holds onto the coveted number 1 position in the ICC ODI Player Rankings for All-rounders with 343 points. Mohammad Nabi and Sikandar Raza are in 2nd and 3rd spot with 300 and 287 rating points respectively.
Hardik Pandya is the sole all-rounder from India within the top 10, occupying the 9th position. Ravindra Jadeja holds the 20th position in the All-arounder’s rankings.
ICC ODI Rankings For Teams
India maintains its top position in the ICC ODI rankings with 118 rating points, while Pakistan holds the 2nd position with 115 rating points, and South Africa secures the 3rd position with 110 rating points.
