All ten teams participated and collectively acquired 72 players for a total of 230.45 crores. Most teams secured the maximum limit of 25 players, except for KKR and RR, who finalized 23 and 22 players respectively.
The IPL 2024 auction made history by witnessing the highest bid ever seen in IPL history. Pat Cummins shattered all previous records when SRH secured him for a staggering 20.5 Crores. However, the astonishment continued as his teammate, Mitchell Starc, was acquired by KKR for a monumental 24.75 Crores.
