The second season of the Women’s Premier League 2024 (WPL) is set to commence on February 23, 2024. Just like last year, this season will feature the participation of five franchises in the tournament, promising an exciting month-long spectacle of cricket.
The season kick-started on February 23rd, and the final is scheduled to take place on March 17th in Delhi. All matches will be held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
In the TATA WPL 2024 season, the two finalists from the inaugural season, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, will clash in the opening game at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

There are 5 teams and each team will play each other twice in round robin. The team that finishes at the top of the table after the league stage will directly qualify for finals and the 2nd and 3rd position teams will face each other in the eliminator to decide the finalist.

The Women’s Premier League 2024 is set to showcase a series of exhilarating matches, predominantly taking place at two esteemed cricket venues. M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host the first half of the tournament with 11 matches, from February 23 to March 2. Notably, the opening game between Mumbai Indians Women and Delhi Capitals Women is scheduled to kick off the season at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on February 23, at 7.30 PM IST.
Following this, the tournament will shift to Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, from March 5 onwards. The Arun Jaitley Stadium will witness pivotal matches, culminating in the grand finale on March 17, also at 7.30 PM IST. Before the final, an Eliminator match on March 15 will determine which teams advance to vie for the championship title at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
